Adobe Animate Cc Object Drawing Not Working

  • How tween object drawing?

I received a number of graphs of an Illustrator user - they imported as symbols that contains drawing objects.   When I open one of these symbols and tried to tween (fade out) the object drawing, I don't have the option to Alpha.   I don't use Illustrator myself and I had to install CS4, so I'm not used to it either.   I searched for centuries, but cannot find any info on the manipulation of graphics Illustrator.

    All advice appreciated.

    Marion

You can only use some motion tweens timeline with symbols, so if you're trying to gross graphic interpolation, which will not work.  You'll get to interpolate a graphic symbol or symbol movieclip or button symbol.  If you try to tween in actionscript, then he must be a symbol named, which excludes graphic symbols.

  • Conversion PSD vector object drawing

I did some drawings of characters of cartoons in Photoshop. In which case it is important, they drew with a Wacom tablet, black lines, with the color inside the lines.

Is it possible to convert these characters to editable vector objects in Illustrator CS5? And if so, is there a dummy tutorial?

(I tried to use the trace function, but it converted characters to objects that have all the points that I could change.)

I would be perfectly happy if I could just bring in Illustrator black lines and add color to the cartoon characters, once the black lines have been converted to vectors... but trace keeps filling the inside of the drawings to the related with white. For example, if I have a layer with nothing else that a line of black circle, then tracing was going to turn into a black circle with white on the inside.

    Suggestions?

OK, two things to know about the vectorization. (1) you must develop the trace to be able to change her visit at this time there (no pun intended) track is no longer live. (2) open the properties of the trace to disable fill background with white. It is enabled by default.

OK I lied, yet one thing if you plan use illustrator, you will need use the pen tool that your life will be easier than using the vectorization. Also, using the pen, you will have an idea of good works of the tool pen with photoshop. They are slightly different, but close enough you will beable to use one or the other. As a bonus with the tool pen in photoshop, you can export the drawing as an illustrator file that you can then work on directly in illustrator if necessary.

    OK I'm done...

  • No bounding box using the drawinmg object.

    Hello

To animate a CC, I find that if I draw a circle with the Oval tool in object drawing Mode, there is no encompassing visible around the object.

My understanding is that a bounding box should appear around objects in Object Drawing Mode.

Can someone explain this? I use a wacom with OSX 10.11.2 stylus

    Thank you.

It is a change with the new version. Limits will be consistent with the actual shape of the object to place the rectangular outline that you are used to seeing.

  • Trolling after the marks left by the drawing tools.

After update to animate CC today, I noticed a problem which is severely moving down my workflow.

After every race I do (whether with the brush, brush or pencil tool), there is a second 1-4 break that occurs before the program completely ends to treat STROKE and the registrant on the canvas. This makes it very difficult to predict the consecutive brush strokes and also animate very slowly.

Similarly, the program seems to take its sweet time after I click on a box to fill with the paint bucket tool, especially when close gaps is turned on. The program takes anywhere between one and ten seconds to determine if the form can be filled in, then fills or not. During this long break, I can't do anything in the program and have no other choice but to wait and see what happens.

Someone has an idea of what I can do to fix the lag spikes?

I use Windows 10 and the latest version of Adobe animate CC.

    A few new features.

I found the cause of brush lag spikes. Make sure that when you use the Paintbrush tool to enable 'painting as a Fill. Make sure that the object drawing mode. This greatly improved the recording of brush speed.

However the fill tool still has considerable lag. Has anyone found a way to make work more quickly without having to turn off the narrow gaps?

  • Object drawn with a pencil will not fill with the paint bucket tool

I draw an object using the pencil tool in Flash CS5. Since I use several traces I connect them all by clicking on Edit, combine objects then Union combining the traits in a single object. But when I try to fill it with the color that it doesn't work. Even if I make sure there is no gap. A few small areas that are closed in the fill of the object with the color, but do not know why the rest of the object refuses to be filled with color.

    Open 2.jpg

I fiddled around and switch between the object drawing Mode and drawing Mode, but that doesn't work anymore. Usually when I use the Brush tool I have no problem filling the object with colors. But for some reason, I can't when I use the pencil tool! Help, please!

OK, think about it. If you select your character and in the properties to ask him to be 3000 wide, then zoom in to just behind his ears, you'll see a gap. There is another gap directly in front of the ears.

The thing filling gaps that Chris mentioned does not immediately work, because your lines are still in odd drawing object, the union did you yet left the tiny holes. You can exit this mode by a Break Apart and select all. Areas with gaps fill again right away, but the small fill openings feature will work. The option size of gap is in the tools downwards when the paint bucket is selected.

I'm going to insert an image, which shows the great super version, where you can see two gaps, and you can see how the right box is filled, even if there is a gap.

  • Just the trial version on my new mac, but when I draw a shape, it seems that the blue box normally around him went, I need. How to activate it?

Just the trial version on my new mac, but when I draw a shape, it seems that the blue box normally around him went, I need. How to activate it?

This shows that when you are in object drawing mode. Looking for an icon in the Toolbox which is a square with a circle inside. Allows object drawing mode.

  • Probably something simple - lines/objects selected differently, now can't fill?

I am new to Flash. Before, if I drew a line or something, it would be fair to the line and I could immediately change the shape. Now, there is a blue box surrounding it. I don't know what purpose serves him as a blue box. However, when this started, my filling has stopped working. I can fill a shape I drew by hand, but not when I use the online tool. I've included a screenshot of the blue box surrounding a line. I assured that all sections of form touch before attempting to fill. Does nothing. Help?

You have the active object drawing mode. Select the line tool. Look to the bottom of the tools Panel and click the draw button to turn it off. Keyboard shortcut for this mode is J.

  • Problems to use the fill tool

I use animate for a little while now and for some reason any fill tool still not working. I've seen similar to that of many issues, but none of the solutions seem to work. For example, I have the object drawing mode on OR off, but it doesn't fill not yet. Someone knows how to fix this?

This is because the lines are not closed. They may LOOK closed, but they are not. You must grasp the edge of the line and make it above. It's actually better to draw past your edge and then cut the tip. Also of course select the option of filling gaps when you select the bucket fill tool. Those two will help you complete art.

  • Line and Paint Bucket tools headaches

OK so I'm not very good at drawing with my hand, but I can do a decent bit of art with the online tool and then manipulate the lines of the way I want them to be. I also need to use a "Width" which is not strong, but the curves (1st image as example). My problem is filling in sections with colors using paint with these conditions. I need to have "object drawing Mode O FF' to fill in the blanks. However at the joints it starts to do weird things. The first picture shows (for example) how I want the online tool to make the final product looks like, but requires that I use "object drawing Mode WE " who let me use the paint bucket tool to fill the white central room. If I use "Object drawing Mode OFF"I get the picture 2nd as a result. How do I fix this so I can get something that looks like the first image, but allows me to fill in the blanks with a new color using the paint bucket tool? Thank you in advance.

    1. draw your hash table as you have using the object Mode:

2 using the selection tool select the drawing that you want to fill:

    3. in the section fill and stroke of the Properties window, you will see three options. Select expand to fill in on the left.

4 using the paint bucket tool, fill the Center:

  • Paint Brush tool vs. Pen: why both?

    Hi all

I just downloaded CC. animate happy with most of the changes, but we really intrigues me: the paint brush tool.

Not to be confused with the Brush tool (which is still to animate it) Unlike the brush, paint brush tool tool is not draw with lock fills, pressure and tilt sensitivity or brush modes (Normal, fills, behind, selection, inside).

The closest relative of the paint brush tool is actually the pencil, with a few differences: it can make custom vector brushes and draw like fillings but missing modes of pencil.

My question is: why have both? Why didn't the Animate team just to extend the functionality of the pencil tool to make custom vector brushes? That's backward compatibility? Ease of use? Technical constraints?

It's a small complaint, but I find it strange that the pencil can do everything from the paint brush tool can do with just an additional command. (You can change a pencil line vector brush in the properties panel, after it is drawn, and you can change a pencil line to a fill to change-> menu form)

    Anyone want to tell me?

The paint brush tool is essentially the pencil, with 3 differences

    1. With the Brush tool, you can draw with brushes vector art from the library of the brush. (Object drawing mode will be fixed to) You can't do that with the pencil tool directly; Instead you have to draw a line, select it, and then apply a vector art brush in the menu dropdown style in the properties panel. (Note: you need to double click brushes vector art found in window--> library brush before they are added to the drop-down list Style)
    2. With the Brush tool, you can draw as fills or lines using the draw as fill the checkbox in the properties panel. You can do it with the pencil as well, but you will need to draw the line, select it, then click on change--> form--> convert lines in fillings to do the same thing.
    3. The overall behavior of the paint brush tool acts like a hybrid between the smooth pencil tool and straighten modes. On the one hand, the paint brush tool creates optimized lines similar to the smooth pencil mode; on the other hand, it performs similar to the mode to straighten shape recognition. If you draw a rectangle, an arc or ellipse, Animate will convert your drawing an exact shape. Recognition of shape can be adjusted under Edit--> preferences--> drawing--> recognize the forms.

In summary, the paint brush tool seems to be a new and improved pencil tool and the pencil tool is kept for legacy reasons. The paint brush tool is not the different modes as the pencil tool, but personally, I find the lines made with the paint brush tool to have tasks less problem than the pencil tool. The pencil tool creates lumpy line segments or hyper-redresse light arcs; the paint brush tool strikes a nice balance. With recognition of shape and Vector Art brushes added to the mix, the paint brush tool is an asset.

So in conclusion: change your shortcut 'Y' for the paint brush tool.

  • In Adobe Flash CS6, I have a blue box appearing around lines drawn with the line tool (and other tools like the brush etc.). I can't understand how to disable.

In Adobe Flash CS6, I have a blue box appearing around lines drawn with the line tool (and other tools like the brush etc.). Whenever I try to use a tool, a blue box appears around the line and I have to double click on it to handle, which opens just this line in a screen finery semi where all other objects are semi-gris in the background. I can handle this line in this screen, but nothing else at this point I could do 5 minutes ago. For example, I can no longer reach the 2 lines drawn by the tool online together. For some reason, it started randomly (probably due to an accidental combination) and I just can't put it to what it was. I inserted a video showing if all goes well I mean. Any help would be appreciated.

Object drawing mode. Simply disable it in the tools Panel, or by using the default keyboard shortcut, which is J.

  • Paint brush tool glitch/error

I have this painting Brush tool glitch/error. Every time when I paint with the Brush tool a painting. After when I up my pen stroke is surrounded by a rectangle. Can someone tell me please how to get rid of this annoying problem.

    Hello

The rectangle is encompassing of the object, if the object drawing mode is enabled it will get, if you turn off the drawing of the tools Panel mode object, you could not see.

    Thank you!

  • Adobe Flash problem!

Whenever I have to draw with the brush, and once I raise my pen from afar (or uncheck the mouse), Flash decides to choose the drawing, and once I start drawing my next part, it UN-selects the first line drawn and selects a new and keeps doing so over and over again.

I start drawing with the brush, and it says "Brush"on 'Properties' . But once I drew and let go, 'Properties' says now "object Drawing". (And he certainly wasn't doing that before. In fact, 'Properties' remained saying "Brush"and does not change do not at all - if so me knowing that something bad has breasts-up!

He was not the last time that I used it, so I must have hit a button control or what - not.

I'm new to Flash, so not knowing what the hell just happened.

(And I don't want a person responding to this telling me that I have to MAKE sure it's a real version and not really answering my bloody question.)

So, if you are able to really answer that for me, then please do.

And don't 'answer' with something irrelevant!

Thank you and looking forward to you answer

(Picture, showing what happens when I draw something [and lift the pen])

(And no, it's not to do with my graphics tablet or mouse. It's just o do with a parameter for activating/deactivating the program. But I don't know where to find them and fix)

(And there is no need of updates! -I REPEAT! "It's just a feature activated/large which is the cause!)

You seem to have triggered the object drawing mode.

Press the J key on your keyboard and see if it returns to you.  Maybe it's what you did to trigger to start, otherwise, you have chosen the control directly.

To get a better idea of the animal you let loose, also move with the selected brush tool and hover over controls drawing below the drawing tools and find out who carries a label of the popup to "drawing object (J)"it's with a circle surrounded by a rectangle - a bit like what you get when it is turned on."  If it is / was selected then you'd be in object drawing mode.

  • Paint does not work.

    Hello!

I have a problem with a can of paint. When I drow a polygon a few strokes with a brush or a pencil. For example a square on the photo, I can't paint. Bez názvu.png I tried to reinstall flash, but it did not help. I work with Flash Professional CS6.

    I appreciate the help.

Make sure that you use OBJECT drawing mode (icon at the bottom of the tool palette after you select the pencil tool) to create these traits.  or, select the 4 lines, and then click Modify > ungroup.
